"BEYOND i wanna go" is a documentary by filmmaker Cheryl Dunn commemorating 10 years of Creative Growth fashion. It premiered at Creative Growth's Beyond Trend fashion event at the Oakland Museum of California, along with looks modeled and created by Creative Growth artists.

Creative Growth Art Center is a non-profit organization based in Oakland, California that advances the inclusion of artists with developmental disabilities in contemporary art and strengthens community, by providing a supportive studio environment and gallery representation. Cheryl Dunn is a photographer and filmmaker based in New York City.

This documentary short will be shown followed by a brief Q&A session with Cheryl Dunn and Kathleen Henderson, Executive Director of Studio Route 29 and former Staff Artist and Special Projects Coordinator at Creative Growth.

Films for Friends is a film series that takes place every second Thursday of the month at Studio Route 29. The screening is open to the public and popcorn is served. There is no cost to attend but we suggest a donation of $10 to support the studio.
